MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge - Simple Grid

 
This week's Speedy Fox & Friends challenge is to create a simple grid background.  The tutorial link is available on the MFP Stamp Shop Speedy Fox & Friends challenge post.
 
For my card I used the card base only for the grid and stamping.  Stamp set used is MFP Stamp Shop Wealthy Fish.  After coloring the fish using copic markers I colored over the image using Wink of Stella clear glitter pen and added some small pearls to mimic bubbles.

Today's celebration gives congratulations to the recipient.  I used Fabriano watercolor notecard, stamped the image and sentiment using Ranger Archival Black ink and watercolored the image and wash background using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.  Image is from MFP Stamp Shop Coneflowers stamp set and the sentiment is from the Swans stamp set.

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - In The Meadow We Will Build a Snowman!

 
 
I'm happy to be the hostess for "In The Meadow We Will Build a Snowman" challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters.
 
For my card I used a panel of blue dotted cardstock called embroidery paper.  I embossed the cardstock using a birch tree embossing folder from Stampin Up.  The snowman is from PaperSmooches stamped and die cut, the snow mounds are created using PTI dies cutout using glitter cardstock.  The sentiment is from my stamp "collection!"

The challenge at Ruby's Rainbow is to create a Christmas card/project with a metallic twist!
 
For my card I used brown textured cardstock and brown striped designer paper with ribbon wrapped around the middle.  The poinsettia and sentiment were die cut using DWCW metallic papers.

My first celebration card for the hop is to celebrate an anniversary!  My wedding colors many years ago were white and peach so that's the color theme I used for this CAS card that includes lace, ribbon, a heart shaped ribbon slider, and sentiment from the MFP Stamp Shop Out on the Town stamp set.

CWWC Challengye - Don't Forget the Animals!

 
 
The CWWC Challenge sponsor is PPinkyDolls.  I was provided the PPinkyDolls Unicorn Betsy digital image. 
 
 
For my card I used patterned paper from the DCWV paper pack NanasKids.  I printed the image and used spellbinders circle die to cut it out and the sunburst die to layer a doily and then the image on.  Some bling adorns each side of the image panel.  The center panel was punched using an EK Success border punch.  The image was colored using Copic Markers.

MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge - Vellum

 
This week's challenge is to stamp on vellum, emboss the stamped image using white embossing powder, color it from the backside, cut it out and adhere to your card base.

OLCCC #22 - Silhouette Optional Twist

 
 
We are creating Silhouette images (silhouette is the optional twist for OLCCC #22) for the One Layer Christmas Card Challenge!  The OLCCC is always anything goes as long as it is Christmas and one layer.
 
For my card I used a Hampton Art wood block stamp; the sentiment is from MFP Stamp Shop.  I used Ranger Archival Black ink.

Sparkles Monthly Challenge - Anything But a Card

 
The Sparkles Monthly Challenge for November is to create an Anything But a Card project.  DT member Cathy chose this fun theme.
 
For my project I created a 5 x 7 framed art.  I used some scrapbook paper for the background, then layered on a doily then die cut a cat silhouette and layered that image over the doily.  I embellished the frame using MayArts leaves, a zipper flower, and created a tulle bow for the upper corner.

MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge - Stamp a Background

 
This week's challenge at MFP Speedy Fox & Friends is to stamp a background and use clear embossing powder.  The MFP Blog has a link to a tutorial for creating the stamped background.
 
For my card, I used the MFP Stamp Shop Oh Beans stamp set.  The coffee beans were stamped on brown cardstock using versamark ink and then heat embossed using clear embossing powder.  The sentiment was stamped on crumb cake cardstock using Hero Arts Black ink.

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

 
The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge theme was chosen by Darlene, "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas." 
 
For my card, I used traditional Christmas colors.  The Merry Christmas was die cut from a Simon Says Stamp die, the snowflakes and candle are from my "already die cut" bag.  I used a snowflake embossing folder to give some texture to the background.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #117 - Red, White, & Blue

 
 
The theme for Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #117 was chosen by Shaz and is to use Red, White, and Blue.
 
Today is Veterans Day here in the states, a time to honor all of our past and present military.
 
For my red, white, and blue card I went with a patriotic red, white, and blue theme.  I used papers from my stash for the background, created a "bunting" using the Martha Stewart lace border punch, and die cut stars using glitter cardstock from the Stampin Up Stars die set.  The sentiment is a Hampton Arts stamp.

OLCCC #21 Reminder

 
It's not too late to share your one layer Christmas cards with us at  OLCCC!  The optional twist is reindeer!
 
For my card, I used Stampin Up Dasher stamp and the sentiment is from PTI Faux Ribbon stamp set.  I created the background using Sepia Color Burst watercolor powder and water.  Dasher's antlers are embellished using adhesive pearls; image stamped using Ranger Archival Black ink and a bit of splatter using white distress paint.

CWWC Challenge - Pink & Lime Green

 
The Crafting When We Can (CWWC) Challenge is to use pink and lime green.  The CWWC Challenge sponsor is Lacy Sunshine and I'm using Bubbles Jolly Elf image provided by the sponsor.
 
 
For my card, I used Spellbinders scallop and circle dies to create a circle shaped card.  The image was colored using copic markers and a multi-looped bow embellishes the card.

This month's challenge at Gruffies & Guests is to use  the colors red or green or both!  Gruffies & Guests Challenges are for projects/cards using House Mouse, Happy Hoppers, or Gruffies images only.
 
For my red and green card I used the House Mouse stamp Whee Flight.  The image fit perfectly with a sentiment from the MFT stamp set "start each day with whee!"

MFP Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge - Water & Stencil

 
 
The challenge this week at MFP Speedy Fox & Friends is create a background using ink, stencil, and water!  The blog will have a link to a tutorial for this fun background.
 
For my card, I used distress inks  to sponge color on my white cardstock panel, then used a stencil from Michael's Recollections on top of the sponged color and spritzed with water.  Removed the stencil to a "water bleached" image.  Once dry, I used a butterfly and sentiment from the Hello Butterflies stamp set.

Altered Eclectics November Challenge

 
For the November altered project I created an altered spool.  I wrapped woodgrain patterned paper around the middle of the spool and embellished it using lace, feathered flower, and the butterfly was punched out using a Martha Stewart punch and embellished with pearls.

Eclectic Ellapu Challenge - Balloons, Banners, or Bows

 
The November Challenge at Eclectic Ellapu is to create a project using balloons, banners, or bows!
 
For my card I used all three!  The woodgrain patterned paper is from my stash, I used 4 different sizes of circle punches and adhered to the patterned paper and then used an embossing folder to give it texture.  I embellished the circles using balloon crystals, wrapped some twine around the panel and created a multi-looped bow to adhere to the wrapped twine.  I used MFT Big Greetings stamp for the sentiment and punched a small banner for the corner.
