Cyber Monday Blog Hop

Thank you for joining Flourishes LC and Imagine Crafts on this fabulous Cyber Monday for our first blog hop together.

We are excited to share with you our designer’s creativity using each company’s products and each designer's unique style.

For my card I used an image and sentiment from the Flourishes lc Coastal Christmas stamp set.  I watercolored the image and used stickles glitter glue around the boat and pier to give the effect of moving water.

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Pearls

For my card I used an image from a retired MFP stamp set.  I stamped the image using Memento Black ink and shaded using a gray copic marker.  The flower is from a Prima floral set, the lace is from my stash, and I added two pearl head stick pins behind the flower; three small pearls embellish the image panel.  Dies used are Lil Inker Rectangle Stitched dies.

We hope you'll share your cards and/or projects with us and show us your pearls!  You can find the challenge HERE.

The Outlawz Paper A La Mode Challenge - Giving Thanks

This week's Paper a La Mode challenge is to create a card or project that shows us something you are thankful for or use a thank you sentiment.

Our sponsor is  A Day For Daisies.
The sponsor provided the image Bird Family on a Branch that I used for my card.

For my card, I am thankful for family!  I printed the image onto Bristol Mixed Media cardstock and then used Distress inks to give it a watercolor effect.  To get the watercolor effect I used the corner of a distress ink cube to color directly to the printed image and then give a spritz of water  to get the ink to spread a bit and dry it using my heat tool.  I really like the look!

We hope you'll show us something you are thankful for (or use a thank you sentiment on your card or project) this week.  You can find this week's Paper A La Mode Challenge HERE.

Echoes of Kindness

I posted this CAS card to my SCS gallery a few weeks ago and wanted to share it on my blog today.  The image and sentiment are from a retired Stampin' Up set Echoes of Kindness.  I colored the image using Chameleon pens.  The angled die is from MFT.

I received so many kind words and cards for my birthday from SCS friends, blogger friends, facebook friends, and family from everywhere!  Thank you for thinking of me.  :)

CWWC - Circles!

The CWWC Challenge is to use circles on your creation!

The sponsor is Devil Cait Designs.  I was provided the image J-Ling by the sponsor.

After printing the digital image I colored it using Chameleon pens.  I embellished my card using lace and ribbon.  The background circles were embossed using an embossing folder.

We hope you'll share your creations that show circles.  The CWWC circle challenge can be found HERE

Eclectic Ellapu Challenge - Use a bow and ribbon!

The Eclectic Ellapu Challenge this month is to use ribbon and a bow on your card or project.

For my card, I created a die cut wreath and used gingham ribbon and attached a multi-looped bow for a CAS Christmas card.

You can enter the Eclectic Ellapu Challenge HERE.

Altered Eclectics Challenge

My gift box was created by recycling a cardboard tissue paper tube.  I flattened the tube and then pushed the ends to create flaps.  Now I have a small gift box!  I decorated the  box using a scrap piece of paper, some ribbon, a multi-loop bow and a piece of vintage jewelry acquired from an estate sale.
The possibilities are unlimited when it comes to recycling these tubes (see tube below)!

The Altered Eclectics challenge is always anything goes as long as you use something recycled, upcycled, altered art, mixed media.  No cards, ATG cards, or scrapbook pages!
