Imagine Crafts and Flourishes l.c Cyber Monday Blog Hop

Cyber Monday Blog Hop

Thank you for joining Flourishes LC and Imagine Crafts on this fabulous Cyber Monday for our first blog hop together.

We are excited to share with you our designer’s creativity using each company’s products and each designer's unique style.

For my card I used an image and sentiment from the Flourishes lc Coastal Christmas stamp set.  I watercolored the image and used stickles glitter glue around the boat and pier to give the effect of moving water.

The Sisterhood of Crafters Challenge - Pearls

For my card I used an image from a retired MFP stamp set.  I stamped the image using Memento Black ink and shaded using a gray copic marker.  The flower is from a Prima floral set, the lace is from my stash, and I added two pearl head stick pins behind the flower; three small pearls embellish the image panel.  Dies used are Lil Inker Rectangle Stitched dies.

We hope you'll share your cards and/or projects with us and show us your pearls!  You can find the challenge HERE.

The Outlawz Paper A La Mode Challenge - Giving Thanks

This week's Paper a La Mode challenge is to create a card or project that shows us something you are thankful for or use a thank you sentiment.

Our sponsor is  A Day For Daisies.
The sponsor provided the image Bird Family on a Branch that I used for my card.

For my card, I am thankful for family!  I printed the image onto Bristol Mixed Media cardstock and then used Distress inks to give it a watercolor effect.  To get the watercolor effect I used the corner of a distress ink cube to color directly to the printed image and then give a spritz of water  to get the ink to spread a bit and dry it using my heat tool.  I really like to look!

We hope you'll show us something you are thankful for (or use a thank you sentiment on your card or project) this week.  You can find this week's Paper A La Mode Challenge HERE.

The Sparkles Monthly Challenge is to create a Christmas themed project/card.

For my card, I used Gina Marie Designs dies to create the shaped card.  The stamp is Inkadinkado Seasons Greetings.  I created a multi-looped bow to embellish my shaped card.

We hope you'll share your Christmas themed projects/cards with us this month.  You can find the challenge HERE.
