House Mouse and Friends Challenge 184 - Christmas/New Year's

I LOVE these little mice and all their friends!

I'm entering this card in the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge (HMFMC184) to create a Christmas or New Year's card/project.

I used the House Mouse stamp Mice Star.  Cardstock is Crafter's Companion Ultra Smooth White 100lb.  Colored the image with Copic markers.  I stamped the image onto the front of the card base then created an overlay by first embossing the panel using a snowflakes embossing folder then die cutting an opening using the Stampin Up Deco Labels die; created  a lace bow using some Martha Stewart lace, stamped the sentiment from the Stampin Up Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, and embellished the bow with some holly leaves cut from a floral stem and added 3 red gems to the leaves.  I used dimensionals to pop the panel up over the image.

The HMFMC184 can be found HERE.

Digi Image from JessicaLynnOriginal.com

This adorable image is only available until December 24 at JessicaLynnOriginal.com

Holiday time is gift-giving time, whether it's to give just because or a December birthday, or a little something to find in a stocking on Christmas Day, a gift card can sometimes be the answer!  I created a gift card holder using a TPR (aka toilet paper roll!)  Just flatten it, cover it, decorate it, and slide the gift card inside!  I will have a tutorial posted this Friday to assist you in creating a gift card holder for any occasion!

Crafting When We Can - It's Time to Party!

The Crafting When We Can Challenge is to create a card or project with a Party Theme!

The Design Team received images from the challenge sponsor, Digital Stamps by KennyK.  The image I used to create my festive round card  party card is called Cozy Cocoa Christmas.  The sentiment was purchased several years ago from the Michaels dollar spot

All papers are from my stash.  I used the Stampin' Up Round framelets dies.  And a die cut from Heartfelt Creations for the topper.  I "fussy cut" the image using the Brother Scan N Cut machine!

We hope you'll play along with the Time to Party theme; you can find the challenge HERE.

CAS Brush Strokes Christmas

I LOVE creating CAS cards using this stamp set from Hero Arts called Brush Strokes!  It is very versatile and can be used for any occasion!  The sentiment is from MFP Stamp Shop called Create With Pine Boughs.  I used PTI inks to stamp the grungy images in Christmas colors and Memento Black for the sentiment.

CAS Island Life

This is a card-base only, no layers, CAS Christmas card.  I used a dry acrylic block technique to create the background using Faded Jeans and Broken China Distress inks.  I inked a large acrylic block and then stamped it onto the front of the card base.  I then stamped the image and sentiment and colored the image using Copic markers.

I used the MFP Stamp Shop Island Life stamp set and the sentiment is from the MFP Christmas Bridge set.
